Common Questions

Does it cost anything for me to publish with Ride the Rainbow Books?

No, in fact we pay you royalties when we publish your book and sales are made.

Will I have to sign a contract?

Yes. All of the details will be in writing so you know exactly what to expect.

Will I have to have my own cover?

No. A cover will be designed for your book by a professional artist and your input and ideas will be carefully considered in the process.

Does my book have to be a certain length?

Yes and no. If your book is under 55,000 words, it may be considered a novella or a short story. If this is the case, we may combine it with other works by you or by other authors in the same book. For example we may publish a book with two novellas or ten short stories.

Why should I publish with you?

Because we are nice. If that’s not a good enough reason, how about because we are knowledgeable enough to get your book out there into the hands of eager readers and small enough to provide individual attention to each of our authors. We are a young company and are looking for authors to grow with us.
